SUNA joins the Nursing Community in requesting both the House and Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies, (LHHS-ED) Appropriation Subcommittees to appropriate $244 million for the Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Nursing Workforce Development programs (Title VIII of the Public Health Service Act [2 U.S.C. 296 et seq.]) and $157 million for the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) at the National Institutes of Health in Fiscal Year 2017.
