NAM to Release National Plan for Health Workforce Well-Being, Requests Public Input

The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Clinician Well-Being Collaborative is working to develop a national plan to support health workforce well-being. The plan will coordinate action across the following priority areas:

  • positive work and learning environments and culture
  • measurement, assessment, strategies, and research of well-being
  • mental health and stigma
  • compliance, regulatory, and policy barriers for health workers’ daily work
  • effective technology tools
  • effects of COVID-19 on the health workforce

NAM will release a draft of the plan and host a webinar for public input on May 20, 2022 (3:00-4:30 pm ET).
